Trump is a simple person. He speaks in hyperbole; everything is amazing, incredible. perfect, or terrific. He does not see gradations. He lacks vocabulary and nuance. He is absolutely a terrible choice for any office. He is not bright at all. However, he appears to have a talent as a con man. He has fooled so many people with his song-and-dance act. He would give a speech and if the people responded badly to something he said, he just reversed his view and ran with it. His followers were happy with that. We have to survive this clown for a couple more years unless the Dems win the midterms. Then he can be controlled a bit.

Agreed that a lot of his campaign promises were lies. Why he felt it was okay to lie is beyond me.
