The ballon was a spy vehicle, the Government has said so, even stated they had U2 planes above it monitoring every minute it was there. Point being they felt they could not shoot it down until it reached water in fear of the human casualties below, the wreckage covered ten square miles.
Had they put it down over land and it killed one cow the same hate Biden MAGA would be all over Fox yelling that Biden don’t care about animals and disregarded possible injury to Americans
