Deep Purple Rocker John Lord Dies

Aw Man. All the great classic rockers I grew up with, are about 8-20 years older then me, I sucks seeing them die. I loved Deep Purple.
Quick story: was at a concert, must have been about the time of the Machine Head tour In Rock was already released.
Anyways the bass wasn't turned up, and the crowd kept yelling "turn up the bass" - think the mixer guy just heard "turn it up", and BLASTED the damn concert.
I had to leave -i didn't want ear damage , Later I learned to take Hero's earplugs to concerts, but i was still a teenager.
They rocked. Still drag out they're CD;s now and then - much more to them then "smoke on the water" I likd the first album too -self titled.
