Dee Snider of Twisted Sister Fame has asked Republican Vice President Nominee Paul Ryan to stop playing his song "We're not going to take it".

In a poetic response a Ryan spokesman emailed Snider "We're not going to play it anymore."

What's even more amazing to me is that one would think some of these musicians would most likely be republicans.

It's not like they're playing "Say My Name" or anyother Beyonce song.

Why would you be surprised ?
The entertainment industry as a group, is generally liberal and supports the Democrats....homos, dopers, rappers, and other that with little or no values, nothing new here, unless you've been under a rock for the past few decades.....same with just about all of the media....after all, there are big bucks at stake and they know whats good for them.

Being political on either side, has the potential of affecting sales of recordings.....

The cons will have to stick with the few patriotic country entertainers that are conservative.....
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ted Nugent, LeAnn Rimes, Alabama, Beach Boys, Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Charlie Daniels, and many, many others.....
 
for all the bullshit that the feds have been wreaking upon us at the behest of the MPAA and the RIAA, you think that politicians would be aware of the fact that they must PAY to use another persons intellectual property. so nobody should be surprised that the musicians ask them to quit playing it.

I doubt it has little to do with that. I bet you can find examples where Democratic politicians have been asked not to use other artist songs. It's more a matter of infringement on those artist intellectual property rights. If I was an artist and some politician was using my song to advance their campaign or agenda with out my authorizaton or compensation, I'd be pissed. Politics be damned. Business is business.

At least nobody will have to worry about getting shot like they will from the hip hop rapper crowd that will be at the DNC. You know how they like to shoot one another, once they start hearing that music, drinking their 40oz's.
