His most unhinged moment was when he was talking about how good is temperament is.

How does anyone watch that performance from Trump thinking that it was reasoned & intelligent? People were making fun of him on twitter for sounding coked up w/ the sniffles, but he actually sounded that way w/ the responses. He starts talking & goes off in about 2-3 different tangents every time.

He's a certified nutcase. I find it very alarming that he exceeded your expectations. What exactly did you expect him to be like?

Actually I was thinking today. IT's not that crazy. Yes they are unliked, but Trump is a world famous and successful businessman, and entertainer. Best from the Private sector. ANd Hillary is probably the most know and qualified in the political sector (Kind of). Or has been in the forefront of politics for 30 years.

He didn't melt down. His first presidential debate, she's had quite a few more. But he didn't lose anyone. Indeed, his not being an establishment insider likely went over well with independents.

When you are trying to make an appeal to a group of people you don't say "law and order" which has been a code word that has a negative connotation to that group. That doesn't mean the black community likes crime but it's not how you would them over.

One must put themselves in another's shoes to fully understand and be able to connect. Trump isn't doing that.

So what do you suggest? Big govt entitlments like the democrats offer?

He talked about getting them jobs too for the first 30 mins.

you think that matters? People know how tough they are having it now. You can keep telling everyone that all is well if they dont feel it they will just ignore you.

If the goal is someone successful in business we had that last election with Romney. He built an amazing company that is still thriving today. Trump is a brilliant marketer and clearly he is rich but his style of business is not one we would want to emulate.

Hillary rode the back of her husband and is from another era. Yes she has experience but experience in and of itself isn't always what's needed.

I thought the meme is that liberals go by their "feels", not conservatives. Conservatives are supposed to love facts. And Trump blew through the facts and left them gasping in horror. :)

yes but romney is an republican running on free market ideals while trump is a republican running on economic nationalism.

what bigger fact is there than what is going on in your life? If your working more hours and still cant make it then whatever "fact" the politicians tell you just rolls off you.

I suggest he talk about positive things in the black community, not saying inner cities are the worst they've ever been which is clearly not true. He said nothing about schools, he didn't talk about promoting black entrepreneurship. He's not going to win black votes yelling law and order when so much with the police is going on.

He needs to explain in a positive way why free market principles can help. That's not an easy sell unfortunately.
