I saw a CNN breaking news email from earlier today about a Los Angeles City councilwoman who resigned when her racist remarks were made public. That's what (D)s do. (R)s try to kill the VP and destroy democracy in order to keep *their* racist fuckwits in power.

She was an idiot. Agreed about Trumptard fuckwits.

FWIW, she's still on the council. She resigned as the president of the council.

Los Angeles City Council member Nury Martinez has resigned as the legislative body’s president after making racist remarks about a fellow council member and his Black child.

“I take responsibility for what I said and there are no excuses for those comments,” Martinez said in a statement. “I’m so sorry.”

Martinez’ resignation as president is effective immediately, according to the statement, though she remains a member of the council.
