Nope, the economy is not booming. It’s merely chugging along with some questionable signals ahead. Layoffs are increasing, the recent jobs report was shitty, the dollar is very weak making imports more expensive, consumer confidence is down and the only reason the DOW is up is because of the hint of rate cuts. Otherwise, until a few weeks ago it was up a measly 1-2%.

So, why would the Fed cut interest rates if the economy was booming? A super strong economy usually needs an increase to put the brakes on.

The inflationary pressures were due, in a major part, to the influx of money pumped into the COVID economy. Your boy was responsible for a huge part of that. Reality sucks, but you’re too willfully ignorant to accept it.
