Hogg is, like most control freaks, completely paranoid about and obsessed with guns, to the exclusion of all else. It, of course, would be futile to point out to him that we've currently got more restrictions on guns than at any time in our history, and, equally, more mass shootings than at any time in our history. Clearly, something other than access to guns is to blame, but the control freaks are totally focused on guns, with no interest in actually looking for the real causes.
If only they were actually involved in trying to find real solutions, instead of just chasing phantoms.

Exactly the point I was going to make. Anytime you see one of these r/w asshole threads you know they've either grossly exaggerated or flat out lied about something in the title.
We had no such problems before we had what were sold as "better gun laws". It's onlt ignorance and paranoia behind the support for any gun laws. As much of the world demonstrates, gun control doesn't work. The only places where it appears to work are cultures that didn't have problems with guns or violence before they had any gun control laws.
