His mother had said in an interview with TMZ that she was worried because her son "has not taken the time to grieve".
I tend to agree. He has remained 'detached' in that sense and focusing only on his desire to be a part of (mainly) CNN and being a reporter. He often wore a CNN shirt to school.

David Hogg's father, Kevin worked for the FBI at LAX for years (as interviewed by Anderson Cooper) until he retired and they moved to FL and David was around 14 or 15. The graduation picture with him in his red cap and gown was from a Redondo Beach school...probably it was his graduation from Jr. High.
So, it seems David has spent his sophomore, junior & senior years at MSD in Parkland, FL.

This a strange video. Hogg says that it is 9:32. Either the actual conversations are occurring at 9:32 in the morning when the school was having their drill (notice the swat team entering the classroom for the drill) earlier in the classroom and some of the film footage of the REAL event added lateror for some reason he chose to say the time was earlier to make it appear that he was actually present at school all day instead of backing up his other story of how he was at home, heard of the shooting and grabbed his equipment and raced off to the school on his bike to capture the event.
The only mention of times in the original video were 2:52 and 3:13.

Guess you missed my post agreeing with Christiefan that the graduation tweet story was fake and that I mentioned it appears Hogg has been at MSD throughout his high school years.
