2023 violent crime - 22.5 per 1,000
It seems crime did go down from the higher crime rate under Trump.

Your “facts” are based upon the National Crime Victimization Survey, which of course the Examiner never cites. The survey measures a small sample of people who have been victims of a crime, and is not intended as an indicator on actual crime statistics, it is a survey
Also the source the Examiner does employ to serve as an authority on the survey is the Crime Prevention Research, a gun hugger group
The "facts" are based on cherry picking 2020 from the survey as Trump's numbers while ignoring 2018 which had higher crime numbers than under Biden in 2023.
