Reminds me of (the possibly apocryphal) story of Alexander the Great and Darius of Persia. Supposedly, before their major battle, Darius sent Alexander a letter in which he called Alexander "a mere boy.
Alexander wrote back that by doing so, Darius has set himself up for sure defeat. "If you defeat me, there will be no glory or honor in it, because you will have beaten a mere boy...but if I defeat you, it will be said that Darius was beaten by a mere boy."
So...have at it Assholes of the GOP. Tell the world how ancient, stupid, and incompetent you consider Joe Biden to be. And they will make up their own minds about what that means now that he owns you.

The last one I saw in full was probably one that Reagan did only because I liked to watch his speeches.
I think I may have watched part of one of Bush sr.’s and part of one of Clinton’s then no more. What little I’ve seen on YouTube or news vids have been horrible. It gives them a chance to consolidate their lies.

I would like to see Congress allow individuals to let the Gov't to manage their SS (as it is now) or allow individuals to move their SS money into a retirement account that would keep their money in stocks/bonds (70%/30%) when their age is between 20-30, 50%/50% between 30-40, 30%/70% between 40-50 and and %100 in a Money Market account over 50 until they choose to start receiving payments.
That would yield probably twice the amount that recipients are getting now.

I would not object to such a set up, but not sunset what we have now, then try to negotiate that, it would never happen.
