Daniel Penny Will Be Charged in Subway Chokehold Killing of Jordan Neely

Penny murdered Neely for kidnapping a 7-year-old girl 4 months ago?

Penny didn't murder anyone.

Neely was attacking passengers on a commuter train. Penny made him stop. Neely died fighting because he was preying on innocent passengers.

I get it, you fear that you will be mugging people on a train, and someone could put you in the ground too.

You want trains safe for thugs and thieves to prey on the public.

You don't even realize how stupid you sound, do you?

Do you realize how foolish you look, lying while supporting violent criminals?

When he was 14, Neely's mother was murdered. He had to testify at the trial. His family said that is when he lost himself. He was a Micheal Jackson impersonator. So a skinny little guy. He required mental help.

Bitch, I ride the subway every day that I'm in NYC. You wouldn't survive 10 minutes here because you're dangerous, dumb, and unwelcome.

Alec Baldwin pointed a loaded gun at Halyna Hutchins and killed her...no punishment.

You cannot be crazy enough to link those? Maybe you can. He was doing no violent acts. He was acting in a movie and the gun was supposed to be unloaded. It was an accident. Penny was strangling the guy and choked him for 15 minutes. It was murder. Charged as a homicide.

I can tell you this, if I see a woman being attacked I’m not doing shit because I don’t want to be charged with a crime.

This is the world liberals are making

You're in good company with all those onlookers on the subway who stood there doing nothing helpful while an actual rape was occurring.

"... there is also good reason to believe the public does often respond with apathy when women are assaulted. I’ve reported on this myself: In 2012, a young woman was sexually assaulted on the New York City subway; no one intervened, and one bystander took cellphone footage of the attack, which was later uploaded – he says not by him – to porn and gossip sites.

Other journalists have documented similar cases of women harassed or assaulted while bystanders either looked on or turned away; in other cases, the victims were racial minorities targeted in bias crimes. Researchers have found women harassed on the street rarely receive assistance or intervention from witnesses. And women, interestingly, are more likely to intervene than men, despite stereotypes of female weakness and male chivalry."

I hope the guy takes a plea and does no jail time.

Probation for a year or two.

The death was obviously not intentional and it sounds like the crazy guy had made verbal threats to him and some other passengers.

It's getting to where they need armed guards on every form of public transportation.
Would you be OK with that?

Would you be OK with that?

I wouldn't like for it to be necessary, but if it would protect people from the kinds of crazy, whacked out street trash that threaten and assault others, then bring it on.

Penny was there.

So?

He shouldn't have been put in the position where he had to intervene.

Had there been armed security on the train, they could've handled it.

Tased the guy, pepper sprayed him and handcuffed him to a seat leg until the cops could get there and haul him away.

There's a very small percentage of people willing to intervene. Prosecuting them hurts society as a whole.

Alec Baldwin pointed a loaded gun at Halyna Hutchins and killed her...no punishment.

Baldwin was holding a prop gun which he understood to be not loaded, during the filming of a movie.

New forensic tests have determined that the gun had been altered in such a way as that it could have accidentally discharged without the hammer being pulled back.

No comparison.

And BTW I don't think Penny should be prosecuted.

If he is convicted, I hope he gets probation or as light a sentence as possible.

Miss Marple, don't you believe that the fact that Penny was trying to stop Neely from attacking passengers on a commuter train and is now being prosecuted will prevent most people from trying to stop assaults anywhere in the future?

Penny made him stop. Neely died fighting because he was preying on innocent passengers.

There is no crime here. There is a hero here who did get involved.

We see the evil underbelly of the ilk of the Democratic Socialists when a brave young Marine veteran is prosecuted for preventing a

deranged loon from harming, possibly killing, innocent subway riders in N.Y.C.

Veterans being removed from hotels in NY to accommodate illegals who break our immigration laws.

It is beyond disgusting.
Indeed...I just saw the story of the veterans being kicked out...absolutely shameful...one of them was a soldier who was a part of that hideous withdrawal disaster in Afghanistan...:palm:
And worse that the city isn't addressing the problems of the mentally and criminally ill homeless population...they have a "Top 50" list...Jordan Neely was on it...
They fully support illegals...What kind of world is that?
Thankfully the 20 vets are being assisted by a private organization...since their country is abandoning them....
