In 1979 Curtis Sliwa started The Guardian Angels....a grass roots organization who patrolled the NYC subways to protect people from muggers, sexual assault, mentally imbalanced folk and the like. They use martial arts, intimidation by numbers and reporting to NYC Transit police. In all their years of successfully counter-acting the aforementioned crime, they NEVER killed anyone.

Anyone with decent, traditional martial arts training knows there are a myriad of ways to take down or neutralize an attacking opponent without going to ground fighting techniques, much less choke them out. Perry wasn't a trained military policeman, he was a Green Beret using combat techniques. Different skill set, different mentality.

Until all the film footage and all the witnesses are cross examined in court, we won't have a true picture of events. Period.

We know exactly what is going on. A pro-crime, pro-criminal DA is assaulting the fundamental right to defend oneself and others. Bragg and Adams want criminal mayhem on the streets. They are there to tear down and destroy civil society so that people will cry out for the dictatorship you seek to "restore order."

As soon as Neely got on the train he said "I'm hungry and thirsty," so who know what would have happened if someone opened their bag and offered him a bagel. I know that person would never be you, though.

Perhaps one of the people on the subway might very well have offered some food if they had been properly approached...instead of verbally and viciously attacked...Perhaps if the city of New York took care of their "Top 50" list as well as they do thousands of illegal immigrants , there would never have been an incident that day...

Someone who uses mental illness labels to bash others with on a political forum is not someone with a shred of empathy for ppl like the deceased young man.
