Dana Loesch is a right wing pundit and anti-abortionist. Her quote:

“I don't care if Herschel Walker paid to abort endangered baby eagles. I want control of the Senate.”

So, is that what it’s all about? NOT values. NOT that abortion equates to murder. NONE of that, is it?

It’s all about POWER and any other issue is secondary. And a far second, at that.

They have never cared about abortion, it’s always been used as a wedge issue to raise money and get elected.

Unfortunately true. The Republican Party no longer has any values. They believe power for power's sake is the only thing that matters.

It's the same reason Democrats, who claim #MAGA is a threat to this country and needs to be removed/defeated, donated to #MAGA backed candidates. They did it because they thought they would be easier to defeat in the general because again, it's all about power.

Once you get into the weeds in politics there is no moral high ground. It's simply a battle for power.

That's the way is always is with conservatives. Personal morality only matters if you're a Democrat. trump said he could murder people and he'd not lose support. Well, trump kind of did that on 1/6.. and he's right.

The GOP are just an evil, hateful, fucking racist hate group with zero principles.

The battle for power is one thing. The means by which you gain power is another.

But the issue of abortion for the right is on an entirely different level. SUPPOSEDLY.

They’ll want you to believe it’s murder of the unborn who have no voice. Walker is even a “no exception” pro-lifer. SUPPOSEDLY.

But it’s not really about abortion, is it? It’s not really about preventing voter fraud, is it? Not about election integrity. None of that.

Power. And any means to obtain it and retain it is permissable.

Conservative commentator Scott Jennings on Wednesday declared that he was unbothered about revelations that GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker paid for an ex-girlfriend’s abortion, claiming “there’s too much at stake” for Republicans.

In the wake of The Daily Beast reporting that Walker—who is running on an extreme anti-abortion platform—urged his former girlfriend to get an abortion in 2009 and then paid for it, conservative lawmakers, officials, and media figures have all rallied around the ex-football hero.

Politics is a business decision. If you are anti-abortion will you advance your cause further by forcing Walker to drop out and give the seat to a pro-choice Senator or still support him have a pro-life vote if he wins?

Regarding the financial backing of #MAGA candidates by Democrats, is that to say all the rhetoric of them being such a threat to democracy and our country is just partisan rhetoric but not a core principle belief and therefore funding them for the advancement of power is acceptable?

I thought the alt lefties we're poor abortion. You guys ought to be in love with Walker.

That abortion probably saved Herschel a bundle in child support payments.

It will be interesting to see how those MAGA candidates the Democrats supported financially will do in November.

The battle for power and not principles goes to the beginning of our republic. The important Marbury v. Madison Supreme Court decision was about how to come out looking good and not lose without actually winning.

Trying to equate what is SUPPOSEDLY a life and death issue, one of deep religious and ethical meaning, SUPPOSEDLY, with funding a weaker #MAGA candidate is lame, at best.

Like #TRE45ON, she says out loud what others only whisper in back rooms. She's right. They don't care. They would vote for Satan himself if it meant that they could regain power.

Yes. The same is true of immigration. They could have done something concrete about that issue all along, but even when they held the WH and both chambers, they did not but mutter about a wall that Mexico was going to be forced to pay for. They don't want to fix it -- then what would they use to frighten their sheeple and get them to the polls?

I was just shocked at the ads that our congresscritter, Bergman, is running. He is a retired Marine general. He used to talk about his record of helping vets, protecting the Great Lakes, and so on. Not this time. Now he's using every single Reichwing dog whistle Fox has, including "woke" -- which of course is code for "they won't let us make fun of LGBTQ ppl or use the n-word."

I noticed that even my creepy stalker, who has for 12 years insisted that women should not be allowed to control their own reproductive rights, still loves Walker. So much for "principles," eh?

Sounds like how the likes of Schumer and Pelosi used the death of a petty crook for their own ends. I have seldom seen a more nauseating sight than a bunch of geriatric politicians wearing Kente cloth and bending their arthritic knees to honour a petty crook.
