Damo and SF can return to tax-free bull semen

Minister of Truth

Practically Perfect
Among other measures being considered by the new CO legislature, HB 1005 reinstates the sales tax exemption on numerous agricultural products such as pesticide and bull semen. Actually, this morning Fox mentioned that people have been able to write off portions of their property under CO law, claiming it as agricultural land, and that its easy to write land off whatever the hell you're using it for.

Anyway...

Cool!

There are some places in Houston where you see a lot of houses very close together that are churches.

They have signs saying things like "The church of Jesus", etc. They don't pay property taxes and get away with it.

I wonder if I can write off my land because of my bee hives? I don't need any bull semen though so you can go ahead and drink it, Threedee.

Well, Damo, if the system is as easy to work in CO as has been charged, you shouldn't have a problem, because you are actually using that land for agricultural purposes, even if its not as conventional. Apparently some people have just made shit up and gotten the exemptions...
