Damo: A Coward, A Fool, A Wimp, A Pragmatist, A Fierce Defender of Free Speech, Or Something Else? A Sincere Question.

Personally, I, like most Americans, value free speech more than any other right that’s self-evident and inherent in any free person. I’d die to defend it, as many would. I don’t doubt @Damocles love for free speech or America, but I believe people have a responsibility to speak out, act, and defeat pure evil when they can. I’m sure many here saw Hume’s disgusting thread, “I hope these political assassinations happen more often,” referring to the cowardly assassination of Charlie Kirk. I can’t see how anyone can argue that statement isn’t a direct call for more violence. Don’t be cute by saying the word “hope” covers his ass. It’s clear he means it, and in his sick mind, if he had the balls, he’d be on the next rooftop pulling the trigger.

I’ll keep it simple. I like the free-for-all nature of what Damo has created and/or maintained here, precisely because people aren’t banned, no matter how horrible the insults or terrible the ideas, with a very understandable firm stance on perverts and porn. That said, with all the political violence we’re now in the midst of, I believe any decent person has a moral responsibility to limit extreme rhetoric like Hume’s comment. I would’ve permanently banned him instantly and reported him to the FBI. I did the latter but obviously can’t ban Hume.

Is Damo right to allow statements like Hume’s? Would doing so somehow limit the free exchange of ideas? If so, how? Who would be limited? The mentally ill? It’s not a mental illness? Explain. If hoping for more assassinations of anyone for their political or spiritual beliefs isn’t a mental illness, what is it? It’s not normal and a clear indicator of just how radical the scumbag is. Again, Damo owns this site and takes a hard line on perverts and porn. Is that just for legal reasons, or is there a moral element? I’d like to think the latter, but I call that into question by his silence and inaction on Hume’s disgusting thread.

I’m relatively new here, so maybe comments like this have been allowed for a long time with plenty of examples of similar threads going without consequence, I don’t know, you tell me. If so, I still say it’s time to make a change and grow a pair. This isn’t about free speech, it’s about doing what’s right, period. Who decides what’s right? Well, the ownership’s a great place to start. What say you, Damo? I say it's definitely time for a new hardline rule about promoting political violence on his site. That rule would not diminish any sane conversations or debates from happening here, period.

As for the rest of you, feel free to comment and spew your usual bullshit, that’s fine. I only care about Damo’s response. I’ve been wondering what goes through his mind or if it even troubles him at all. If not, I’ve lost respect for Damo. I’m sure he doesn’t care, but I’m hopeful his answer might restore a bit of it, if that’s possible.

I asked him to start the thread. I told him I would explain.

Rule 12b exists because when I allowed those type of insults two people took it to a level where the site was unusable, was unsafe for work, and they were literally EVERYWHERE... taking a hardline stance on it and actually having to permanently ban someone was the only way to end it.

What you object to has not done the same thing to the site. I have no responsibility for what you post, you agree to rules that state you are responsible for your posts. If you post something illegal, it does not come back on me.

I protect the privacy of folks that post here, I do not allow doxers to post here. I stop the "yer a perv" insults, and I add rules only when necessary to keep the site on course for political discourse.

What Hume, and others, is saying is part of this discourse, and should not be ignored. When they tell you who they are, you should listen, not ignore it.

I'll respond later. I am at a birthday party right now.

"I would’ve permanently banned him instantly and reported him to the FBI. I did the latter but obviously can’t ban Hume."

WOW. You, Dutch, and Lily are three peas in a pod.

You might as well hit ignore right now because all I intend to do is remind you, you are a brainless radicalized fucking freak, that goes for all of you radicalized fucking freaks. Why? Because that's exactly what you are. There is no debate here. We only debate I've ever had here was with those I mostly agree with because they are thinking people. Everyone of you useless fucks are one inch shedding blood cuz you are brain dead drones and the media has been telling you it's okay to kill Nazis and fascists and you are all so it's stupid believe them. Fuck you to all left wing radical scum. Sincerely!

I'm pretty sure Hume is and old-timer who has been around JPP hate for 20 years. We'll all go mad in the end but it's no reason to call the FBI.
Oh, I disagree, the current crop of radicalized left-wing scum are all brain-washed. Nearly all of them sincerely believe that Charlie Kirk was a fascist. It's a real and present danger we live with now. It is clearly a mental illness, if not explain how it's not. Explain exactly what Charlie Kirk ever did that could possibly earn him the fascist label. How about Trump, give me that evidence while you're at it, and a fucking meme isn't actions, give me actions, but try your hardest to do it intelligently. I am really struggling to suffer fools, always have, but now, it's nearly impossible. This killing wasn't the first insane action, there have been far too many examples to ignore. I did my part making sure that if Hume, old piece of shit or not, has a really bad day and we see him on the news, I can sleep knowing when I saw something I said something. If he never acts on his ignorance, by calling on others to kill more like Charlie rather than hoping or does the job himself, he's got nothing to worry about. If someone wants to call the FBI about anything I've ever said or done, I've got nothing to worry about. Feel free, make the call.

@Hume is a vile piece of shit. Gutter scum of the lowest order. But I agree with Damo that he did not make a direct threat. The 12b Maggot DID make direct threats against President Trump - but I would call on the FBI to deal with her rather than Damo.

The opinion of Hume is repugnant and reprehensible - but it has a right to it's opinion.

He gives you a free forum to post your horseshit. You should just say, "thank you". You disagree how he runs this FREE forum? Well, fuck, there are plenty of others, don't let the door hit you.

I would highly recommend you see a gynecologist toot sweet to clean the sand and stink out of your feted vag.

That will be all.

Oh, should have read ahead. You asked him to. Okay - well - fuck - it's still free to be here, I appreciate being here. Not to pivot to swiftly to an uncomfortable area but have you noticed most members that complain about the moderation here did NOT vote for Biden? Just an observation.
