Daily Reminder for JPP Liberals:

man..1st rule of an election is NO GLOATING,,wining an election isn't a means in itself -it's the governing that counts.

We are in uncharted territory with Trump.
I think he'll do well or I wouldn't have voted for him - but shut up and hope he does.
Save the gloating for the mid-terms if he does
Time will tell but it appears that Trump is just going to re-wrap more supply side nonsense which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. In fact if he does I fully expect that the economic issues that have galvanized working class voters will go unaddressed and probably get worse.

I don't think right wingers realize this stuff doesn't hurt more liberal people, or the so called left. For instance, if we return to back alley abortion that will only hurt the poor and society as a whole. The wealthy will do the same as they have done in the past. If tax policy is trickle down revisited, who does that hurt but again the working class of which most are white and many voted for Trump. The rich will spend on foreign acquisitions and hide money off shore. Consider Limbaugh as an example, he buys Maybach autos made by German union workers who make twice as much as American union workers - the few left in this country. You really think that hurts liberals? That only supports Germany. Or consider keiretsu, the Japanese import a million and half autos into the US and allow only a few American cars into Japan, meanwhile Americans complain that GM got a loan, and righties disparage unions. I could go on but conservative, corporate America plays right wing and libertarian types like a banjo. And all you characters do is point in the wrong direction.

"[The Great Depression, Pat] Robertson wrote, did "more to shape the existing framework of U.S. government policy than any other single event in recent history." The legacy of the Great Depression included "a powerful central government ... an anti-business bias in the country ... powerful unions," and, most important of all, "the belief in the economic policy of British scholar John Maynard Keynes, to the end that government spending and government 'fine tuning' would guarantee perpetual prosperity." Robertson conceded that such measures might have played a role in ending the Great Depression. But fifty years later they were responsible for the "sickness of the 70s" - the devaluation of the dollar, inflation, the decline in productivity. Robertson called for a "profound moral revival" to combat the economic weaknesses plaguing the United States. "Those who love God must get involved in the election of strong leaders," he insisted, and they should choose men and women who were "pledged to reduce the size of government, eliminate federal deficits, free our productive capacity, ensure sound currency." Kim Phillips-Fein (p225 'Invisible Hands')

"Early issues of the 'Journal-Champion' carried numerous articles calling the faithful to the fight to cleanse America of sexual sin: homosexuality, pornography, and abortion. But interwoven with this campaign were descriptions of the economic and political crisis facing the United States. 'The greatest threat to the average American's liberty does not come From Communistic aggression, crime in the decaying cities or any other external cause," read an article in the June 1978 issue. "It comes from the growing internal encroachments of government bureaucrats as they limit the freedom of Americans through distribution of rules and regulations, many times called guidelines." The newspaper criticized OSHA's "insulting or silly" regulations, and published an open letter to Congress denouncing the "faceless bureaucrats who sit in strategy meetings and formulate federal guidelines," saying that they "pinch our pocket books, restrict our work privileges, govern our spending habits, determine the 'safety' restrictions of our businesses and influence the type of homes we live in."" Kim Phillips-Fein (p229 'Invisible Hands')

How do you import into another country?

why do liberals want to kill children so badly they would do it in alleys?......why not invite the poor women into your homes and kill the children in your basement?.....

Why not just use birthcontrol or not have sex? Thus not creating a baby to kill. Its not rocket science.

I guarantee the day you ban abortion, women and men start covering up more. Thus leading to less unwanted births. Another liberal logic fail.

On this issue you are truly ignorant. I just want you to know that. We brought in lawful abortion way back in 1967 because of so many backstreet abortions being performed on desperate women and teenage girls.

well i'm not worried about more debt -i mean I am but it's gonna happen one way or the other.

Getting some decent GDP growth (3-4%) takes care of the working class -that along with getting rid of the TPP,and reforming NAFTA.
Tax reform is needed. I think you get that with the infrastructure spending..

Chill, chill, chill. my unsolicited advice to all

Abstenance, birth control, and adoption are the only humane ways to deal with unwanted pregnancy. Saying that killing another because it's unwanted is OK, simply because the mother doesn't want it, is excusing what should still be infanticide.

Dont want ant to get pregnant? Abstain from sex.
Want to have sex and not get pregnant? Be responsible and use birth control.
Have sex and get pregnant? Place the infant up for adoption.

It really is that simple to refrain from butchery.

  • Hillary lost the election, 15 days ago.

  • The "I grab women by the pussy and they like it" guy is our actual president of the united states. What he said reflects our actual reality. In spite of what many women will protest and shriek about, your bubble world has been shattered. Grabbing women by the pussy and bragging about it is not a disqualifying factor for being President. 60 Million Americans, nearly 50% of the electorate agree with this statement.

  • Remember his cinco de mayo taco bowl? Blood coming out of wherever? Khan? The "Catastrophic convention" and the split republican party? Remember the mexican judge? Miss Piggy? Didn't fucking matter.

  • He's going to be President for at least the next four years.

  • He's going to get to make at least 1 supreme court nomination, a pick that will last probably 20-40 years. Good chance that some liberal SJC's may also die in the meantime. Then you are really boned.

  • Republicans have control of both houses of congress, and the 2018 midterms have mostly democrat senators up for re-election in red states.

This has been your daily reminder.

You forgot to add the GOP have 67% of governorships and a majority of State legislators. This is super important when dealing with immigration issues and Obamacare.

I expect some were but many were teenage girls or women with too many children already. We provide contraception over here free including the morning after pill. Any teenager can walk into a pharmacy and get the morning after pill, no questions asked.

Easy to say, not so easy to do. If you want to get rid of abortion then you need sex education in every primary school and free birth control. I don't see why some poor girl who's been knocked up at the age of thirteen should have her life ruined.

As for adoption, can't speak for the US although I would imagine it is even worse, but children that end up in homes over here tend to do far less well in life and either end up in prostitution, criminality or worse.

So what would you have done about that Indian dentist who was left to die in an Irish hospital?

Sex education is taught. Everyone knows by 11 what sex is and where babies come from. Social woes and challenges should never be the excuse for killing a baby merely because its location makes it unseen.

So what about that poor Indian woman who was left to die by the doctors in Ireland? I could easily see that happening over and over in some states.

Meh...you lack a sense of humor. Republicans have been famous over the last couple of generations for claiming that Government is the problem, getting elected and proving it.

This is another massive pile of crap. Republicans claim that BIG Government is a problem; and they are correct. They also believe that the citizens should keep more of what they earn which will be better for the economy; they are correct.

The Government you speak of has been controlled by Democrats in the Congress for more than four decades. Republicans have only had that luxury for a decade thanks to BillyBob's sexual predations and Obama's arrogance and stupidity.

The only thing Dems really need to do is just sit back and chill. You don't really need to jump up and down and scream that bad policies are going to fail. You only have to let the dumbasses implement them and then sit back and wait and hope that when they prove incapable of governing, as they usually do, that they don't take you down with them. LOL

One can only wish Democrats and liberal retards would do that. But alas, they will predict disasters and massive global warming floods and get more egg on their face. The greatest threat to Liberalism is allowing Conservatives to implement their agenda.

Here's to givens that if Trump implements them he's in for a rocky road.

WTF does this sentence mean? You on drugs again?

Top down supply side economic policy based on the discredited notion that has never been proven that top end tax cuts for the wealthy will increase revenue and reactionary social policies that wants to drag the nation back to an imaginary better time.

Dear dunce; nothing can be more asinine than bottom up economic policy. But then, you're a mental midget when it comes to economics. The notion that by allowing the Government to confiscate more wealth, which is the ONLY liberal solution, one can create economic growth and solve all our societal problems is born of ignorance and stupidity.

That's why I'm in wait and see mode with Trump. He doesn't strike me as an ideologue and he certainly isn't a social reactionary. I honestly don't get the sinking feeling with Trump that I had with W. W came from a political family and he was an incredibly astute politician. My fear was that nothing in life had prepared him for being a chief executive and he proved an unmitigated failure as one.

:rofl2: Trump has run a massive multi-billion dollar business; Obama when he came to office - ZERO experience running ANYTHING. Now you morons who voted for a dunce on nothing more substantive than "hope and change" are worried about experience?

Stop it already; don't you morons look dumb enough already?

So you go after that Dr.

Right now in the US alone, more than 54 million abortions have killed children in the womb. The only time abortion should be a medical procedure is in the extremely rare instance of a woman's life being put at risk at a stage of pregnancy a baby could not survive outside the womb. BTW this would be babies below 22 weeks gestation.

This has been your daily reminder.

Here's yours.

1. Hilary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 2 million Americans .. and counting. THis doesn't mean she won the election .. it means that there are more anti-Trump Americans who want him to fail then pro-Trump Americans hoping for his success.

2. Trump has no experience in the legislative world and he has a shitload of enemies .. including the press. EVERY misstep and failure will be illuminated repeatedly .. and the attacks on his administration an euro-slut wife will be relentless.

3. The fact that republicans control the WH and and Congress means that there will be no one to blame for their failures.

4. By 2020, this nation will be browner and angrier at the right .. and the Republican Party will still be essentially all white.

5. There will be many implosions within the Republican Party between the ultra-right and more sane republicans who never liked Trump in the first place. In fact, that's already happening.

Your daily reminder homeboy.

Democrats only control five of fifty State Houses; yet these idiots think they are winning. It is astounding.

Birth control is free in the US in clinics across the country The hackery BS that there is not access to birth control for the poor is a lie.
