I saw that and I understood why the cops are so pissed...if cops cant defend themselves from attack with a deadly weapon than it is all over for the cops on the street....they will get crucified....at that point it is time to quit and let the mentally ill country suffer the consequences.

They knew who he was,had his car.
They would have just gone to his house with back up,took him to jail.
