The best estimates, drilling in ANWR would maintain 110,000 existing jobs and provide 170,000 new jobs. Assuming the USGS mean estimate from its 1998 study, the amount of recoverable oil would have “a production period of nearly 40 years” (Parnell and Sullivan 203).

Absolutely nothing to do with oil production today, or the price of gas today. Why wont big oil keep more of their production here, and export less. That would solve a lot.
 
According to U.S. Geological Survey estimates, the North Slope contains an estimated 10.4 billion barrels of oil.
This is more than the known oil reserves of entire countries that the U.S. currently imports oil from, including: Mexico, Angola, Azerbaijan, Norway, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
At peak production, ANWR could supply up to 1.45 million barrels of oil per day.
This is more than the U.S. imports from Saudi Arabia every day.
Alternatively, 1.45 million barrels of oil per day is over one quarter of what the U.S. imports from OPEC countries each year.
 
ANWAR has been made irrelevant since Biden stopped oil production there.

He did promise to kill the carbon based energy sector.

of course if you believe in domestic oil production you should not have voted for biden.

the past is always a better time to get a clue, but you can always work with the present.

Are you so fucking stupid to not know that regardless of how much we produce, we cant refine all of it! More drilling would mean more oil shipped to other countries. Its all about profits, my dear.
