Cuomo signs law to allow lawsuits against GUNMAKERS for violence. What about cars???

it aint the guns , it's revolving door justice = bail "reform"

Offend as you please and get out of legal consequences/jail right away

The case of MacPherson v. Buick Motors gives you the right to sue the car manufacturer. It has been in place for over a hundred years.

Try again. In 2019, there were 37,595 car deaths, but 39,707 gun deaths. So rather than there being far more car deaths, there are slightly more gun deaths. Car deaths have been dropping, because car makers are constantly trying to make their use safer. Gun manufacturers really do not care.

So, how many of those car deaths were criminal versus accidental? How many gun deaths were criminal versus accidental or self inflicted (eg., suicides)?

Criminal use of a product, be it a firearm, gasoline, a car, a baseball bat, or anything else is not an intended proper use of the item. No manufacturer should be sued for selling something that was used with criminal intent when the product was never intended to be used for that purpose.

Ahh, the old trick of trying, desperately, to somehow subdivide deaths to change the facts. The facts are car deaths have been dropping, because of greater car safety. Cars are being made safer, and also we are figuring out what regulations work with cars. Car makers are constantly adding features that make them safer. To buy or sell a car requires registration of the car. To drive the car requires a license. Driving a car drunk is a crime. Can any of these facts be said about guns?

That fact is that guns are more dangerous, because no one cares enough to make them safer. Government has decided that gun makers cannot be sued, unlike any other group of manufacturers.

all guns have a safety on them........how much more safer do you think they should be?

CDC??? That's your source? HAHAHA. The same crooks who lie about covid???!!!. My sources say highway deaths are 42,000 a year and gun deaths 32,000 and half those gun deaths are suicides. And the homicides are almost always blacks killing blacks. Gun deaths are a small problem and easily avoided by staying away from darkies.

Car makers are constantly adding features that make them safer. .

HAHAHAHA. You are the dumbest person in history. Car makers love car crashes since car crashes mean car sales. That's why they sell cars that do 150 mph and come with internet access to distract the driver. The car makers design cars to encourage crashes. THINK you moron.

HAHAHAHA, more idiocy from TDAK......

Modern, double action revolvers have internal components, like a chunk of metal which sits between the hammer and the firing pin until the trigger is pulled, which negate the need for a manual safety.

And the double action trigger pull is long enough to further negate that need.

Exactly - there is no safety. Most revolvers have a transfer bar and the user never touches it.
