Crucial Question: Is AOC in Charge Now?

Is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez now in charge of the Democrats? She is telling Republicans to report to her office to negotiate with her directly. She made it clear that Schumer has eroded Democrats' trust in him and that it will now be a challenge to work with him.

If so, Democrats are history. I'd really like a leftist's perspective.
