My sister flunked a kid who never turned in assignments and flunked every test he showed up to take (probably less than half according to her). He reported her to the principal for beating him.
She was written up by the principal for being a racist.
She never returned to work.
Public school of course.
I suspect there is much more to that story!

Thats frikkin terrible. We are losing way too many good teachers like your sister and they are being replaced for the most part by people who shouldnt be running a flea circus.
She had been a career teacher in Baton Rouge with no problems and retired for several years. Taught at a private school and even one of those “reform “ schools ( all black).
Moved to Metairie, LA and decided to teach again at the same middle school we went to.
So I don’t know but she said there was almost no discipline she could enforce.

From what I hear , in Louisiana it’s practically child neglect to send your kid to a public school. Private schools have popped up all over.
When I was a kid there were just a few of those for the rich kids.

Never think that High School age kids are not smart enough to know about the world they live in! I know High School kids are more united on racial matters than we are as adults.
