Here is what I don't like: People talking about Puttin as if he is the second coming of Christ. It's sad when people stand with Putin and not with the President.

If you had lived with the Soviet Union you'd know that Putin with all his faults is infinitely better. Yes, he is a kleptocrat and dictatorial but he has restored Russia's pride. You only have to look at the rise of Hitler to know what happens when a great nation is humiliated.

This is absolutely correct and plays a huge role in the support a constituency will give its leader.

Even more dangerous will be China. Their history has been one of repeated humiliation and failure. They haven't even had their day in the sun yet as a great nation.

A great global crackup is underway in the absence of the Pax Americana. I just wonder if the crunch will come down prior to or post the 2014 midterm elections....whether the world will act to expose Obama as an impotent lame duck beforehand, or wait until afterwards when he absolutely is ...

In two years we may be looking at a completely different world.

Kinda scary what handing out free Obamaphones can bring about, izzinit?
