Sadly that party has become jackass lite. Theyve decided they would rather be popular than do the right thing. Whatever trump was and is his rise to power tells us something about how most Americans feel about both parties.

No what I mean is there are too few Republicans who are willing to tell you jackasses to go fuck yourselves. Great logic, for the junior high playground, but the Founders didn’t create the Legislative branch with a junior high playground in mind

And the last time I looked, Donald Trump runs as a Republican!

Now if you have a 3rd party that you would like to vote for, that is always your right.

But it is not the Democrats who cling onto the winner-take all states rules! Don't expect just the Blue states to change this- as it would never work until both Red states and Blue states gets rid of the damn thing!

Now a couple of states have ended their Winner-Take-All rule because they have decided to encourage 3rd parties in their states to run. I think it is a brave and and sign of the times gesture.

But, as long as we have this obstacle, and democracy killing rule, 3rd parties have never been able to put any meat on the bones of a 3rd party- and they never will under the system we have in place now!

Interesting, the Democrats have never fully adopted the donkey, popularized by Andrew Jackson opponents, as a party symbol, but the GOP has embraced the elephant as theirs, a slow and hindering animal, pretty much says it all, especially today
