I’d agree, even posted such last week when rumors were floating, it would be a major accomplishment
Two quick thoughts, first, even with a ceasefire it is still going to take a long time before actual visible results will appear on the ground. Those looking for quick results will be disappointed, going to take patience
Second, foreign affairs, even successes as this, plays little in elections theses days. Trump will get a short bump, and even though he will boast it endlessly, will be forgotten in the ballot booth
So if Obama’s means nothing why do you think Trump winning one will?

First I already said why. Second if they gave one to obama and don't give or trump then they've verified that the prize is nothing more than a glitzy bauble. Third I don't really give a fuck if they give one to trump or not for 2 reasons.
1. If trumps actions actually bring about some peace that's far more important than whether or not anyone recognizes him for it.
2. Giving one to Obama for doing absolutely nothing makes getting one a joke. Its like a participation trophy

I just knew that the plan wasn't conceived by trump although he'll take credit for it. trump doesn't have the brain power to put together something like this.
