Democrats care more about the country and the people who live here. Republicans care more about being seen staring

If Democrats care as much as they claim about people, why do Democrats, rather than meeting the financial needs of all the folks they claim to care about with their own money automatically demand the government force someone they think has too much money to fund what they support?
