the logan act is a 200 year old law which i dont think anyone has been convicted of. I may be wrong on this next part but in its 200 year history I dont think anyone has ever been charged of violating it.

Administrations do go thru back channels to communicate with other world leaders all the time even before they are formally sworn in. I mean one of the perks of hillary was supposed to be her connections with other world leaders.. The entire argument on why this is bad is "because trump"
