Then just maybe you should have read the article that the link that had the story; because within that article the following is stated:

"It was in high school that she met the current town mayor, Juan Carlos Escamilla, who went on to file the lawsuit claiming she has insufficient command of the English language to hold elected office."

I'm not aware of to many non-Hispanic individuals who have the last name of Escamilla or who's first name is Juan. Now add in the middle name of Carlos and this is pretty apparent that he's Hispanic.

C'mon Zap. Save what little dignity you might have left and admit that you never read any articles and just based your entire opinion of the information that the lady was Hispanic and it was said that she's not proficient in English.
