Mindy McCready died Sunday night of an apparent suicide in Heber Springs, AK, according to EOnline. She was 37.
Reports of the country music singer broke on Twitter, and her website has been taken down.
McCready was born on Nov. 30, 1975 in Fort Myers, FL, and graduated early from high school so that she could begin her singing career.
At 18, she moved to Nashville before recording five studio albums: Ten Thousand Angels (1996), If I Don't Stay the Night (1997), I'm Not so Tough (1999), the 2002 eponymous titled Mindy McCready and I'm Still Here (2010).
