Interesting op ed on the topic of what Virginia just did.
Could Trump legally claim those cities for DC? It would likely turn Virginia into a red state and reduce their electoral college votes. Clearly it would trigger massive lawsuits.
Personally I don't like the idea. This is what happens when you meet marxists tit for tat. You end up ripping the country apart. Unlike JPP leftists with no core principles, I prefer keeping the Union together.
But, it is an interesting idea. Can you imagine the leftists heads that would explode if he did do it? I doubt he will.
