Kavanaugh has shown himself to be a Partisan Hack. The Republicans control the House, Senate, and Presidency ... they will do whatever they can to CONTROL the Supreme Court.
That's the point of elections---for your party to gain political power.

Presumption of innocence doesn't mean anything to YOU when you drag Ford's name through the mud and call her a liar, and accuse her of the crime of making a false accusation, with absolutely zero proof.
I'm a Millennial. A presumption of innocence doesn't apply to a job interview, where the burden is on the candidate to show he's the best person for the job.

The Supreme Court is suppose to be IMPARTIAL, just interpreting the Law as passed.
By 'stacking' the Court with Partisans, you defeat the PURPOSE of a 'neutral court'.
This shows the problem with a 'Two-Party System'.

You have a naive opinion of Democrats. When they controlled most states and Congress they gerrymandered like crazy. They refused to redistrict so some districts contained several times more people than others. The Supreme Court made the states redistrict. They would only give Republicans one voting precinct in an entire county for the Republican primary while Democrats had 20. Any objective observer knows both parties use the same tactics, only extreme partisans think one is the "good" party.
Democrats would not be in this fix if they had not broken the rules by using the nuclear option by allowing a majority vote for judicial nominees. But there is nothing saying the rules cannot be changed and both parties are willing to do so.
Show me an impartial member of the court today. You can always predict the votes of Thomas, Kagan, Gingsberg, Alito, and Sotomayor. It is not interpreting the law as much as interpreting the Constitution that is the biggest issue (although it is a small percentage of the court's cases).
I favor keeping abortion legal but think that should be an issue for each state. Roe v. Wade was a convoluted decision to reach a policy goal that was anything but impartial.
90% of judicial appointments are members of the president's party--so it has never been impartial. Ideology is the main factor in choosing a judge.
Do you REALLY feel Kavanaugh is an impartial Judge? ... or do you see him as a Partisan? His demeanor at the Senate Committee proved he was unfit for the job.
When there is a bi-partisan consensus on a nominee, that pretty well tells you if the person is 'impartial'. When it's 'Blue Team against Red Team', that pretty much tells you it is PARTISAN.
That post was a breath of fresh air for me. The last 2.5 weeks were all about whether he's a rapist as alleged by someone who clearly has histrionic personality disorder exacerbated by TDS and enabled by Diane Feinstein et al.

Back to the question. Every dim on that senate j. committee took Ballsey Ford's word for it despite no substantiation, despite she obviously has histrionic personality disorder. She said it so it must be true. She had no business even being heard. No, I do not believe he will be impartial. There will be payback. Not sure if I'd be the same but that's the cake those vile dims on the j. committee baked now they have to eat it.
