Trump does not care if he wins the cases. They make the defendant pay for lawyers and go through unnecessary grief. Trump is spending mega millions of tax dollars on his harassment. This is as weak and stupid as a case can get. It will be tossed quickly. But Trump will enjoy putting Comey through some shit. I hope they call this a vindictive case and make someone on Trump's staff pay.

It will be the taxpayers who pay but yes, Corey will likely get all his costs paid plus a vindictive prosecution verdict which is near unheard of in Federal government prosecutions.

The level of abuse the DoJ has to do for that is astounding

I expect that that's exactly what will happen. Judges hate frivolous lawsuits. It's quite obvious to even the most slack-jawed MAGAT (like Cuntyboy *cough cough*) that Blanche only brought it to satisfy his GropingFuehrer's revenge desires and to keep his job. Hopefully when the case is tossed out it will come with both sanctions and an order to pay all court costs and defendant's costs as well. What a way to fuck up your legal career, Idiot Blanche!
