He talked of the 19-year-old aspiring model who sent him her poem and ended up on his sofa, where, Mr. Cosby said, she pleasured him with lotion. He spoke with casual disregard about ending a relationship with another model so he could pursue other women. “Moving on,” was his phrase. He suggested he was skilled in picking up the nonverbal cues that signal a woman’s consent.

“I think I’m a pretty decent reader of people and their emotions in these romantic sexual things, whatever you want to call them,” he said. Through it all, his manner was largely one of casual indifference.

Can't get over the the fact that some may not judge another based solely on race?
Racism is such a part of your being you can't perceive anything else, my racist friend.

I still haven't seen anything that suggests that these women were forced to take Qaaludes or Librium, am I missing something? I could be a lot more sympathetic if these were naive teenage girls but these were grown women!

I don't believe he ever told them the drug was quaaludes. Sometimes he put it in their drinks without their knowledge. Sometimes he told them it was benadryl or a pain killer. I'm still reading his deposition.

She said she drank the coffee, became woozy and next thing she knew several hours had passed and she had no memory of what happened.

I am not trying to defend him necessarily, but I can't help thinking that he is being stitched up. These were all professional women, not teenage girls, who presumably were neither naive or stupid. Am I missing something because I just don't believe that you can put a drug like Methaqualone into an alcoholic drink without them noticing.

He walked me into the next room, where there was a mirror on the wall, and he told me to look at myself. Something was wrong with me.”

2. The then-aspiring singer was introduced to Cosby by a mutual friend in the 1970s. She said Cosby gave her pills when she was feeling sick at one of his restaurants. Around 30 minutes later, Green said she lost all motor control and was face down in her lunch. “I was very, very, very stoned,” she told Today host Matt Lauer. Cosby then offered to drive her home. He helped her take off her clothes and get into bed and then sexually assaulted her, she said.

3. He once asked Tarshis to help him with some material for The Bill Cosby Show. He gave her a red eye — a Bloody Mary topped with beer. “The next thing I remember was coming to on his couch while being undressed,” Tarshis said.

4. Ruehli has consistently said that Cosby invited her to his home for what she thought would be a party. Instead, he met her alone and served her two drinks, she said.
She passed out, then later found herself naked and in bed with Cosby, she said. He attempted to force her to have oral sex with him, she said, but he left after she went to a bathroom to throw up.
 
Tom, I have a question and am not asking because it happened in England but because of the time element, which is similar to the Cosby accusations.

When women came forward after Jimmy Savile's death and spoke about his sexual abuse, were they believed?

That will have to change. Hillary says that sexual assault "survivors" should be believed.
