CORRECTION: The GOP didn't "win" a DAMN thing!

I just wanted to clarify this for the pinheads out there, who seem to think that is the case. I keep seeing them post comments that lead me to believe they think yesterday's election victory was by the GOP, and it really wasn't. The GOP happened to benefit from TEA Party efforts across the country, but that is mainly because the Democrat party has been completely co-opted by the Progressives, and the GOP was only partially co-opted. The new senators and representatives headed to Washington, are not party line GOPers, they are citizens who became involved in politics because they are tired of this shit going on, and mad as hell about it. Not only are they mad at Progressive liberals on the (D) side, but RINO-assed progressives on the (R) side as well, and they aren't going to be "co-opted" by anyone, nor are they going to compromise on core conservative principles. This is a purely grass-roots movement by the people, not by Republicans. The Tan Man would do well to remember he is on a very short leash with these people, and he works for US, we don't work for HIM! He, as well as the rest of the "establishment" republicans, will have this one last opportunity to listen and adhere to the will of the American people, and if they fail to do so, it's going to be 'lights out' for them as well.

Democrat Socialists... I won't bother telling you what you need to do, it wouldn't matter anyway, you're hellbent to do what you want, regardless of what the people say, but let this serve as your notice, your days are numbered. You managed to keep Reid, Boxer, Frank, Schumer, and others in power for yet another term, but you are becoming a regional and isolated faction, and you will be marginalized in the coming years. To any potentially "moderate" Democrats still left out there, you need to understand the people are very angry, and will not tolerate your nonsense anymore. Either work with the people who we elected and help them pass legislation the people have demanded, or get the hell out of the way. If you were fortunate enough to convince your constituents you could be bipartisan and moderate, instead of a raging communist socialist nitwit, you best adhere to that promise, and not take it for granted that you can return to supporting the Marxist policies of the past two years. Those days are OVER, and we're never going back again.

Remind me again which tea party candidates won that did not run as Republicans?

As I said, dumbshit, they ALL ran as Republicans, because the Democrat Party has been completely co-opted by Progressives. The GOP is only partially co-opted, so that's where they settled. If you want to pretend they are Republicans, you go right ahead, I am hoping that's exactly what you do! The more you encourage each other to keep attacking George W. Bush and The Republicans, the more you will marginalize yourselves, and nothing could make me happier than that.

You are retarded. Only like 32% of the tea partiers won their elections. If it wasn't for the tea party idiots running for senate, the (R) would have at least 3 more seats there.

Oh, right. They all ran as Republicans because that's where they "settled" and not because they are Republicans in the first instance. Gotcha.

Your hyperbolic insanity betrays the weakness of your argument.

Nope... PROGRESSIVES would have had 3 more seats there! Let's be clear about that. The TEA Party unseated SEVERAL "moderate" (i.e.; progressive) Republicans, the seats went Democrat, but what is the difference? No need in having a majority that is not really a majority. You see, that's the problem the GOP faced before, that's why they failed to do what they should have, and why many of them were defeated in the primaries. This election wasn't about the GOP vs. Democrats, as you seem to think. The TEA Party is not some extremist wing of the GOP who got all riled up and won. They are a grass-roots movement by THE PEOPLE, not by any PARTY! They are made up of Conservatives, Constitutionalists, Independents, Libertarians, and some disenfranchised Republicans and Democrats, who are fed up with out of control government, and representatives who have not been listening to the people who elected them.

But again... you pinheads can think what you will, I hope you do continue on this path, and interpret the election as some "GOP Victory" because it will cause you to make yet another major political blunder in your certain demise as a political faction.

Hello! long time been gone, and good to see you, again!

None of those really apply to me. And I don't think political parties can have a clinical human behavioral attribute, I believe those apply to individuals. However, I can see how a bigoted person might believe that such an attribute would apply to an entire group of people, that is common among bigots.

I have a great many things wrong with me, do you want the list?

3. Authoritarian

Nope. AssHate is the Authoritarian, have you read some of his rants?
I am for The People... I want The People to decide things! You name it, whatever the issue is socially, I want The People to determine what is best for their community and state, and support them doing so at the ballot box. I can live with whatever they decide. If I were an Authoritarian, I would want you to live by MY standards, and those alone.

5. Paranoid

Only when I smoke pot. That is very seldom.

I think you're all overlooking a fundamental truth....it doesn't really matter if the GOP or the Tea Party won.....what is significant is that the Democrats lost.......

ONce again Dixie has predicted the death of the Democratic party.... Lets Mark this for review later....

Dixie Failed Prediction

I swear - it's almost worth losing an election once in awhile for gems like this...

You read my mind!

It's going to be hilarious watching Republicans beholden to special interests and Tea party Darlings spend all their time trying to prove he's/she's more "conservative" than the other and the Democrats can stand on the sidelines and let the American people see just what conservatives have in mind for their futures.

2012 here we come!

The only moderate Republicans in congress are the two senators from Maine. If the Republican party base (the tea party) is angry at moderate Republicans, they've not accomplished much in getting rid of them.

Being a mindless populist has nothing to do with being an authoritarian. If you agreed to kill 6 million Jews because The People™ wanted you to, you'd still be an authoritarian. As for now, you're only playing a mindless right-wing populist card because you think The People™ agree with you politically. When you find out that they don't, you'll stop being a mindless right-wing populist and play some other card.

I believe that we should do what is right and just, and that we should use any means is necessary to accomplish this. If The People™ can be used as a tool to implement this, three cheers, if The People™ disagree, they can go fuck themselves.

In what way is it so significant, do you expect great things, if so, be prepared to be disappointed!
