Coronavirus stay-at-home orders stir protests nationwide

At least 15,000 cars and trucks are expected to descend on Michigan’s state capital on Wednesday to protest what they’re calling Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s tyrannical new guidelines to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus in the state.

The so-called “drive-by” demonstration – in order to maintain social distancing -- aims to bring traffic to a gridlock in Lansing and protest the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” executive order by Whitmer, a Democrat, mandating what businesses could stay home, what some businesses could sell and ordering people in her state against any gatherings – no matter the size or family ties.

“Quarantine is when you restrict movement of sick people. Tyranny is when you restrict the movement of healthy people,” Meshawn Maddock, an organizer of the protest with the Michigan Conservative Coalition, told Fox News. “Every person has learned a harsh lesson about social distancing. We don’t need a nanny state to tell people how to be careful.”

As I just commented in another thread, you couldn't care who gets sick, who dies, just so long as the economy gets up and rolling again and trump has something to brag about come election time. Well, my dear with 20 million +++ unemployed Trump and you are both big time losers.
No one is going back to work until the governors, the employers, the people, think its safe to do, regardless of what the Fascist in chief has to say.

I'm not going to put my life on freeze just because a few unfortunate souls are taken by another virus. People die from viruses everyday. People are dying all the time. Hell, unborn children are aborted regularly and you degenerates don't even raise a brow.

No, concerned is the appropriate word. I'm concerned about the mild hysteria that has ensued because a few well placed assholes decided to stir up the masses.

When our Governors feel its time too begin to open up the economy, they will do so. There is no amount of Trump blustering that will ever change that. There is nothing he can do.

The virus is already flat lining shit-for-brains. If it comes down to risking the virus and not having a job to put food on the table, I think MOST Americans, those with a brain, would prefer to take the chance with a virus that has impacted .0187% of the population primarily in Blue State urban shit holes. ;)

Infections = .0187% of the population. Deaths from other causes along with the virus = .0075% of the population. Yeah, it makes perfect sense to destroy the economy of America over this.....if you are a fucking moron.
