There was a poor old man who came in with the problem that he was giving sandwiches to the homeless, and "rich white guys" started taking all the sandwiches. The next day I came to his housing project house, and helped him make sandwiches. Then I took the train with him to downtown Philadelphia, to the street corner he gave sandwiches to the homeless at. There were plenty of homeless, but there were also stockbrokers in very nice suits from one of the offices. They had seen there was free food, and decided to "steal lunch from a homeless guy." It was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen, and destroyed much of my faith in my fellow man.

I learned, in high school, not to end a sentence in a preposition.

Tuition is not a proper noun, Jacky.

Where did you matriculate? That’s not a STD, as a dumb, liberal woman on a Southern thread, asked me once.
 
Obviously these are serious issues.

There will be no quick recovery from this.

We are going to have to accept that we are in for a long haul, but through sheer determination and dedication to purpose, we can get through it. We will find the way.
