I had started a betting pool on another thread and guessed 150 by Friday. Not it looks like it will be closer to 170 by midnight tomorrow.

My next guess is 300 by midnight next Friday, the 27th.

It's logical statistical math. Like I've said, the more tests that are given, the more the numbers go up.

...and the more old people who die, the higher the body count. In another thread I did the math at 1% with 50% fatalities. In a nation of 327 Million, the numbers are shocking, but it's still less than 1%.
 
Just saw that Italy has now taken the lead in cv deaths. As usual, the majority are all over 80 with pre-existing conditions.
They've also had a lot of business exchanges with China in the last year or so. So, there was plenty traveling going on between them.
So much for the globalization craze! :cuss:

No, it is not moving faster. No, it is not deadlier. Look at the deaths in the US. All that have reported age have been over 50. Most have had other medical issues that have complicated it. 20 of the first 100 were at a retirement facility in Kirkland WA. Garud is an idiot that will believe whatever is spoon fed him.
