you are the 3rd quickest one to throw the race card out there when racism doesn't exist. admit it. it's done to do nothing more than try to put a non leftist on the defensive, which is a typical liberal tactic.

Then I have misunderstood the meaning Americans attach to the term. Certainly I will accuse people or societies of being racist where evidence suggests. Is that what you mean? I must apologise for not speaking American very well.

I don't think it had anything to do with you not speaking American very well at all. you leaped right in to calling Obama critics racist, simply because it's a tactic you like to use. it didn't have anything else to do with it.

It is not a tactic I like to use but it is common knowledge that, of all the 'first world' nations America stands at the forefront of endemic racism. America is not like the rest of the world. We did not, for example have black slaves (sure we sold them to you) therefore we did not have that part of society. We had a society divided by class, not race. Yes, of course there is racism in the UK (and very definitely in China too) but still it is not the same.
So American politics, with its predisposition to racial slurs, arguments about abortions and religion is not reflected in our politics.
It may be that SOME right wingers in America are not racist, but if you look at the enormous numbers of coded references all over the American political scene you must agree that it's a fairly easy bet that the right wingers on here are racist. You are not? OK. I can live with that.
To me racism is quite unnatural and the hypocrisy with which Americans handle it is quite sickening and should be exposed wherever and whenever it is found.

That is because you start topics which collapse under intelligent comment. If a simple soul such as myself can kill a topic brought by a superior American then something is wrong with the superior American. (That should come as no surprise to anyone).
