Cop FIRED for having racist memorabilia in his HOME!!!!

You’re the one who agreed with TDAK that store owners should be able to ban black customers so I’m not surprised you would be supportive of this guy

Link and a copy paste here, or it never happened. You have made an allegation that you do not intend to back up.

Yep, I have a definite stick up my ass for my thoughts about a guy who displays a KKK application on his wall during an open house because who wouldn’t think it a normal thing right?

Do you believe that owning and/or displaying the document proves that he believes his race is superior to another?

Dude, it’s the KKK. People don’t just have KKK applications on their wall as historical monuments when you are trying to sell their home. It’s there for a reason. It may not bother you and that’s your right but it will clearly bother others. Especially if you aren’t white

There is something wrong with people who can be triggered by seeing an item like this. It is just a thing that doesn't talk or think. You are talking about snowflakes if they get triggered by the site of an object.

Still didn't answer my question.

No, I'm sure a framed KKK application isn't something you see everyday, but I doubt it goes along with the home.
It's there for a reason? It's difficult to make that determination, especially if there's other civil war memorabilia.
Would I be offended? Probably not, I'd be more offended if it was filled out lying on a desk.

If you’re a black American the KKK is about as bad as it gets. Seeing a bunch of people supporting a cop who openly displays a KKK application at their home is beyond the pale.

This is the proverbial put yourself in their shoes situation. Imagine being a Jew and seeing a bunch of folks supporting an officer who’s a big Nazi supporter.

I have a few WWII Nazi articles (yes, they have the swastika on them).

I have one of these SS dress daggers (except mine has a natural rosewood handle)

If I had this (for one example) on display in my home, would you think I'm a Nazi supporter? Why?

This is the proverbial put yourself in their shoes situation. And from a political perspective this is why we don’t get minority votes.

I support everyone’s First Amendment rights.

If we start whittling away at the First Amendment to keep from offending minorities and/or lefties we are headed down the wrong road.

Yes, if you are selling your home it’s wise to ban potential buyers because of their race or background.

Seems to me, ... that once you permit potential buyers to tour a private home, ... the home, at least temporarily, becomes a place of business.

This cop may have buddies in the neighborhood ... that don't want him to sell his house to any Blacks.

No, I would think you are a knife collector.

I just saw that exact dress knife on some bargain hunter show. They said a real one was worth about $2k, ... and the black paint on the handle is typically a sign it's a replica.

If Text and the other rightys are unable to see why this is a problem, they are very stupid or lying.

KKK are scum.......Nazis are scum.....White supremacists are scum.........demmycrats are even worse......if a person is ever caught, stupid enough to have a framed membership to the DNC in his house, he should immediately lose his job.........

so you think he tracked down a KKK application, had it framed BECAUSE he decided to sell his house?.......

No, I am speculating that he left them hanging on the wall as a favor to his other racist white cop buddies who live in the same neighborhood.

I think we can make a pretty good guess on why this gentleman kept this framed application on his wall during an open house to sell his home. When you sell your home and choose to have an open house you are essentially inviting the world in. He could have chosen to take this stuff down knowing it could turn off potential buyers (as it did).

On top of that it makes zero sense to me that a cop would openly display that he was a cop along side a KKK application during an open house.

That would be my guess as well and at least in the case of this black family it clearly worked. The home owner got the response he wanted (the black buyers being repulsed and not wanting to purchase the home).

Would you purposefully hang it on the wall for all to see during an open house to sell your home? If yes, what would be the reasoning behind it?

It would look good hanging next to the samurai swords, ... and Betsy Ross flag???
