The memo was leaked in this case.

Wnat to bet there are other campaigns underway we don't know about?

How many lobbyists have already been retained by the 1% to demonize the 99% before the election?

The Murdoch media and their willing tools on JPP are busy painting the protesters as criminals, bums, and Maoists already.

The right realizes that if they don't destroy the OWS movement (which is impossible) they will lose the power and personhood they've fought 100 yrs to gain.

The right also realize that their policies can't be defended in an election when so many people know they represent the interests of the 1%.

Remember Kent State? It's going to happen again. Why? When the 1% realize this is a true grassroots populous movement aimed directly at them, the killings will commence and the downward spiral of violence will begin.

Conveniently enough, you guys have access to a National Guardsman here, if you ever want to vent your anger about protestors getting shot at. Feel free to call me names, and whatnot. :cof1:

I wonder if the JPP righties yearn to use deadly force against protesters like the authorities do in Egypt, Syria and Bahrain.

lol......liberals are a hoot......

yes, it's horrible.....and the fucking liberals in Congress should be castrated for letting them do it......

It was Alan Greenspan, Phil Gramm and the banking industry that persuaded Clinton to repeal Glass-Steagal. Undoubtedly political correctness had something to do with giving mortgages to single mothers and poor people generally. However it was the casino banks that fueled the crisis with their belief that even if the debtors defaulted they could still sell the houses and recover the debt. In the end you have to get an Englishman to explain the true situation without spin or party politics.

Don't forget your hero Bush's contribution.

Nor was it just Democrat administrations pumping up the market.

President George H. Bush amended the charters of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to declare they had an obligation to facilitate the financing of ‘affordable’ housing for low-income families.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development set goals, at first that 30 pc of mortgage deals should be in this category, later amended to a massive 55 pc.

This insanity reached a climax with President George W. Bush’s American Dream Down Payment Initiative. This provided federal funds to those who had not saved anything. It would even cover their legal costs.

Eventually, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac owned or effectively guaranteed more than half of the $12 trillion mortgage market — real money. Then the bubble burst, as bubbles always do.

After soaring irresistibly until 2005/6, house prices fell like a spent rocket. Banks went for repossession orders. But that only spurred on the slump in house prices. Three million homes were subject to these orders.

don't pretend you don't have a permanent liberal spin....the guys who came up with the mechanism for making taxpayers guarantors for those high risk loans are folks who keep showing up as Obama fundraisers or treasury secretaries.....I'm sure that's a mere coincidence, though........just like the fact that all the Obama fundraisers seem to have gotten environmental stimulus loans.........

Without the banking industry lobbying for the repeal of Glass Steagall Act, all those complex derivatives, exotic financial instruments and Collateralised Debt Obligations would not have existed. That is why the banks lobbied so hard and for so long. I should also add that the credit rating agencies be included in the shit list.

ignore the fact that those complex derivatives, exotic financial instruments and collateralized debt obligations were created by people who supported Obama, campaigned for Obama, worked for Obama, were hired by Obama......do we sense a trend here?.........
