I dismissed the idea that the poor are that way thru no fault of their own. More often than not, it is about bad choices, not some oppressive corporation.

Exactly what are you calling "dirty energy corporations"?

I am using "poor" as an economic condition, nothing more and nothing less.

"Poor" means they have no money.

I am not talking about people who 'are' broke, I am talking about people being made poorer money wise or poorer health wise.

Example. Here is what we know about fine particle pollution from coal burning power plants...

Fine particle pollution:
