Conservatives cannot run on the merits of their policies because there are none.

If you vote Conservatives into power, there will be an economic collapse by the end of their term, I guarantee that.

Something tells me it isn't the ENTIRE GOP...just the loony ends of it. Every party has their nutjobs. I DO, however, fear that the GOP is being consumed by their nutjobs because those are the things that draw people's attention.

Meanwhile our country doesn't seem to be being run any legislators....it's all circus performers now.

It's the entire GOP...they've always been this way since 1964. They were just better at hiding it before.

While I agree that every Republican seems to be abetting the loony end of the GOP, I fear it is not necessarily helpful to demonize an ENTIRE group for the actions of a (albeit large number) subset of that group.

Give that there ARE Republicans in the country we will need them to fix their party. Demonizing the ones who are sane and not dedicated to the overthrow of our government would be a tactical error.

Now, that being said, I am actually in agreement with you that the overall GOP seems to be largely swinging to a side that isn't very good for our country, but I think if we moderate our tone a bit we might be able to help de-escalate the utter pile of bullshit that is heaping up around us.

Right now the nuts are wagging the dog on the Right. But the dog still exists and we absolutely HAVE to convince them that we can have a common ground somewhere that is workable for all sides.

It took decades to reach this level of hate for democracy



Now they will nearly state that they hate democracy

I would ask what good does having the GOP do for American democracy since they are hostile to it and have been since at least 1980?

It was the natural progression for an ideology that is completely fucking bankrupt and inhuman in every regard.
