Conservative Tax Cuts slowed the economy

I want to permanently BURN this fallacy suggesting that Conservative Tax Cuts slowed the economy.

It is always tough to exactly prove what caused what in economics, but we did go from an average growth of the mid threes to the low twos right after the "tax cut". There is no doubt that the "tax cut" did cause the huge deficit.

And now we have massive quantitative easing when the economy is supposedly great? This is some scary stuff.

Obama had GDP growth of 2.9% in 2015, and shrank the deficit to about $600B.

You had GDP growth of 2.3% in 2019, and exploded the deficit to about $1T.

You're in a cult.

And Obama cost us $10 trillion !

And destroyed our healthcare costs !!!

Fuck you !

silly cunts think the economy is slow......

2% is sort of OK, but not outstanding. Honestly, at this point anything higher would worry everybody that the economy was overheating. There has been no breakthroughs in productivity, so we really should not see much above 2%.

When Obama was getting 3%, 4%, and even 5.5%, the Alt Right was saying that was slow. 2% is slower than 5.5%.

GDP growth is not the economy. It includes government spending of empty dollars and government investing using empty dollars. You're in a cult.

yeah.....Obama hit 5.5%.....for a quarter....that year it averaged three...then it dropped for the next two years.....meanwhile Trump's economy has historical records for unemployment, new jobs, wages, stock market......in fact, is there anything that isn't better than it was under Obama?.....

And Obama cost us $10 trillion !

And so far, Trump has added about $4T and is on pace to surpass Obama by the second year of his second term, should he win re-election.

And destroyed our healthcare costs !!!

Lies.

To this day, there has not been one single legitimate victim of the ACA.

The best you could do was trot out that fat sow Julie Boonstra whose own insurance company said she lied when she claimed the ACA made her costs go up.

Trump still has yet to top Obama best annual GDP growth (2.9% in 2015) and best quarterly growth (5.5% in Q2 2014).

A rate Trump still has yet to top. In fact, Trump isn't even close.

that year it averaged three...then it dropped for the next two years.

GDP growth over Obama's 2nd term was 2.0%. Last quarter, you had growth of 2.1%.

You still have yet to top Obama's best annual GDP growth, his best quarterly growth, and the most number of jobs created in a single year.

Caterpillar has suffered an extra burden of 600 billion under the tariffs, moron.

But but but, they got a tax cut! So you're saying that the tax cut didn't create any wealth or profit for a major firm? SHOCKING.

This thread is the usual horse mierda.
