The Current economy is President Obama's fault because he should have corrected it by now...

The terrable economy that started at the end of Bush's 8 year term was Bill CLinton's fault because it takes time for policies to actually effect the economy!

4+4 = -2?

1.5 + 0 = 8?

Wrong.

The terrible (note spelling) economy at the end of the Bush's term, was because of too much deficit spending by Bush, as well as an out of control Democrat congress. The terrible economy we have now, is the same one, just 19 months later, and under the leadership of a president with a bullet-proof congress, lying to us everyday and telling us things are getting better.

Under Bush, unemployment was around 4.5%, it's now 9.3%... DOUBLE what it was. The debt to GDP ratio has risen 186% under Obama, and every economic expert agrees, is unsustainable. In 19 months, this president has outspent all other previous presidents COMBINED... and that is fucking saying something!

interesting that 76% of americans think that Obama needs to stop blaming Bush

I was hoping for a reputable cite, but...

From your Fox News cite....

"Nearly half of voters — 47 percent — think Bush's policies are mostly to blame for the economic difficulties the country is having today, compared to 32 percent who think Obama's policies are to blame."

IMHO, foxnews is every bit as credible as cnn or msnbc, so take it for what you think its worth.

irrelevant to my point. I was simply stating that 76% think he needs to stop blaming bush and do something about it.

ANd more blame Bush than Obama!

How many times do we have to say this too you? You're like my two and half year old niece who each time you tell her no tries to ask the same question a different way hoping she'll get a yes.

Obama isn't getting blamed for creating the recession. However people want to see progress that we are moving out of it and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Right now we aren't seeing that light at the end of the tunnel and that's why so many people are worried and why Democrats are not doing well in the polls.

In 1980, when Reagan became president, our national debt was just over 1 trillion dollars. Through Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and Bush Jr., the debt grew to 2 trillion dollars. In 19 months, the Obama Administration has introduced an additional $2.5 trillion in spending. In just 19 short months, this man has managed to amass a debt greater than every other previous administration COMBINED!

You can stick your polls up your ass, they don't mean a damn thing. There will be a poll in November which will mean something, and I don't think you can save the Democrats from what is coming down the pike... but do keep trying, okay?

Reagan also amassed more debt than any other administration prior to him COMBINED, its what you do to get out of the mess like the one created by Bush... its all a matter of percent of GDP....

You are comparing apples to oranges.

Blame Bush!

Where are your numbers coming from?

The debt was well over $10 Trillion when Bush Jr left office. That said, you are correct that Obama has added about $2.5 trillion thus far and will likely add another $4T by the time he leaves office in January of 2013.

Almost all economist agree, that is how you fix what Bush did! The debt is necessary because of and should be charged to BUSH, not Obama!
