Not really - most people, including those whiz kids on the FNC, are unaware of what "market liberalism," means. People can often recall that the political meaning of the word has "evolved," but how many leftists out there are really market liberals anymore?

Yeah, I was kind of wandering that myself. Nixon's famous declaration that "we're all Keynesians now," should be a reminder to Mott that we don't think it is akin to socialism, but merely linked to the kind of asshole who would implement price control measures.

The media is decidedly left wing. Government is one of our biggest problems, specifically out of control government spending and debt that even our great gandkids can't repay. Multinationals certainly do support free markets, and no capitalist ever wants competition. I can't think they are detrimental to the economy or working the system and costing us more, because that isn't true. That's the Marxist and Maoist propaganda making you think that. Whenever a capitalist experiences this dreaded and awful thing called "record profits" it means they were successful at providing some product or service that people demanded.

And yes, it goes way deeper than liberal vs. conservative, because Liberalism has been hijacked by Marxists and Maoists.

No, I usually call pot "smoke" or "weed" or "kush" or "hydro" and 4:20 is what time I smoke it. I don't own people because I don't believe in owning people, but if I did, I would certainly want to own someone smarter than you.

Please remind my where I talked about "free market socialism". I talked about not having a free market at all, but a rigged market. A market that is being helped with funding with our tax dollars.
