Conn. man condemned to die for fatal home invasion

no...it serves justice

If justice means mindless retribution, as it does to you, then it's not a concept worthy of anything but scorn. Your version of justice deserves to be spat on as the evil that it is by future generations. One day, hopefully soon, the death penalty will be nothing but a shameful memory.

They're trying to argue that tying two young women to beds and burning them to death isn't a heinous enough crime to merit this penalty. Yeah, right.

You think about the stark terror these people faced knowing they were going to die at the hands of a maniacal stranger and you just want to be sick.

The man is diseased and lame.

They shoot horses don't they?

Well in truth, they didn't burn to death; they died from SMOKE INHALATION, which must be better.
I guess. :palm:

It usually cost more to kill them than let them rot in jail. Maybe not for Texas. Lot's of states life in prison means 15 to 20. So killing him is def a deterent from him doing it again. I don't think someone should ever get DP on circumstantial evidence alone.
