I don't want us to get into a war with Russia. If we do, you and I both know it'll be a nuclear war. That would not be good.
There is already a UK. The United Kingdom is England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We do not need another UK to confuse things. You should just write out Ukraine, it is not that much longer.
And yet it is. You think that funding is going to cause a war, you should have Congress withdrawal the funding.
In my first trip to Moscow, I met a rather angry Northern Irish woman who had been going through urban warfare training in the USSR when it was cancelled. This was of course back when the IRA was still at war with the UK(United Kingdom, not the Ukraine).

We should not forget that the USSR trained North Korean, and North Vietnamese during our wars with both. They sent weapons to fight us during both wars. They also transported American prisoners to Russia and tortured them to death to get information. In short, they did a lot worse to us.

For the most part, if the President orders its release to another government, it is legal to release it. Congress has allowed to executive branch to decide what is secret, and who to release it to. The President is the head of the executive branch, so has the final authority on that. Congress has set the penalties for violating the executive branches orders.
None of us considered a situation like trump, where he was betraying spies to Putin. We had no laws in place to handle a President who betrayed us to our enemies.
China is shutting down extremely. They are looking at their first modern recession... EVER!!! People are openly rioting for the first time in 30+ years. This is extremely bad for China.

I actually agree with you. They have stated their legitimacy lies with an ability to deliver continuous high growth, and to have no deaths from Covid. It looks definite that both are not possible at the same time... And sooner or later they will not have either one.
But it also means they are not winning. This idea they are sitting around overjoyed to be winning is nonsense.
As long as our actual involvement ends at the border, it is better than the Russians, and Chinese did. Russian ships would go right into Hanoi Harbor. Chinese trains with Chinese crews would ride over the border into North Vietnam.
