She's still working; she owns her own business and meets with clients and goes out for lunch with friends frequently. He's in poor health and avoids the public except for doctor appts. She could easily bring home something that will kill him.

I would prefer all these rioters not plague our state, but local officials make the calls on opening beaches etc.

I doubt it since we have gotten our first shot and due to get the other in less than 2 weeks, plus we are not letting down our guard until the Medical Experts say it is actually safe.

That is the problem in a lot of families, one or more family members have issues that puts them in a high risk group but the other family members are not taking the precautions that they should. Working is one thing if done as safely as possible it is just what some have to do, going to lunch with co-workers and friends is not something they need to do, it is what they want to do and it could cost her and you very dearly. I do not know if I could ever forgive someone if their laziness and selfish needs cost me my brother, I hope hope it does not come to that, he needs to get the vaccine as soon as possible, even if she does not.

Trying to blame the immigrants is going to be the next excuse. If the governors were that concerned then why don't they shut nonessential business down and mandate wearing a mask, guess what they aren't, and fact they will use it to cover their own screw up by opening up before the population was even close to being covered by the vaccines. It is all about $$$

My vet has a crazy idea about mRNA -wont take it.. There really should be some public service commercials

and releasing migrants that test positive into the USA population - estimated 10%+ of migrants are COVID positive

There are several that do that here, I find it a cowardly way of participating on these sites. Normally of I put one on Ignore and I discover that they are also someone else I will end up adding them also, though I do my best to confirm it as much as is possible first, usually is not all that difficult to figure out, we are who we are no matter the name we use.

COVID gonna spread, but simply injecting migrants with communicable diseases into the population is terrible.

BS, been proven time and time again around the World that it doe work. Schools can be done safely, but the right does not even want that, and yes it is all about $$$, what you miss is if we did the right thing businesses would be doing far better today than they are, the deniers are the Problem, not the Solution. Florida has had schools open since October - schools are not a source of spread. kids are poor transmitters

Lockdowns were done in Europe again. they tend to suppress spread at first, but when they are over the virus picks up again, as we are seeing

Recall the purpose of lockdowns is NOT to stop the spread -it's to keep from overwhelming hospitals
