Confederate flag banned from being sold or displayed on state property in New York

ALBANY, N.Y. — The sale or display of Confederate flags, swastikas and other “symbols of hate” on state property is banned in New York under a law signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo
Never understood the attraction of displaying and honoring the battlefield standard of enemy armed forces.

The battlefield standard of the armed forces of the Confederate States of America really do not merit a place of honor in public parks.

Agreed. It's also evidence of LW authoritarianism meaning they are no better than the RW authoritarians AKA fascists AKA fucking Nazis.

Thank God we had Trump to protect the rights of all Americans. ;)

The Framers of U.S. Constitutional law did not intend for 1st Amendment rights to defend treasonous and un American mad dog sub humans to wage war on Democracy and thus U.S. Constitutional law.

Gettysburg is a public park.

You bitch and moan about about a Confederate flag that was defeated many, many years ago, yet you don't bitch and moan about the American flag being burned and disrespected by a bunch of rich whiny sports figures. Why is that?

Wrong on all counts.

I have written posts on this forum unequivocally saying burning the American flag is an asshole thing to do.

The armed forces of the Confederate States of America invaded your state. While your sympathies may lie with them, I personally acknowledge that patriots of the State of Pennsylvania choose to serve in the United States armed forces to repel the enemy forces.

Awesome. So what did the Framers intend for you to do with subhumans?

Which are the "right" heads?

Do you support the Boogaloo Bois, Proud Boys or any other groups of the kind?

Do they burn down buildings and destroy businesses?

Do the put people in the hospital for wearing a certain type of clothing?

Do they murder innocent people because of their political views?

Do they murder and maim police officers?

You are a moron

And are you going to admit that BLM and Antifa are the violent brown shirts of the democrat party?

No you wont.

But for you and your pals, you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.

When those eggs are heads belonging to people who are your political enemies.

Answering a question with a question is dishonest. You, Philly sock, are dishonest.

The answers to your questions are mixed since, yes, they've been violent and attacked people. They attempted to commit mass murder and kidnapping in Michigan. Their actions have had a negative impact on businesses and the lives of other citizens. None of that justifies Lefties doing the same just like what the Lefty groups do doesn't justify the RWNJs to do the same.

Natural born and bred New Yorkers don't care about the confederate battle flag.

New Yorkers who have a parent or a relative from the south or live in the south do.

But all you're doing is supporting censorship.

And the eradication of American history.

They call you the cancel culture.

Your associate brought up these proud boys people.

So tell me do they do any of the things that your BLM and Antifa do?

admitting to your drug delusions? Why would I do that. Those 2 groups actually hurt the dems in the election so trying to tie them to the dems is just sleazy on your part

comments liike "And the eradication of American history." are how we know you are an uneducated moron. The fact that you have never heard of a library says all we need to know about diseased brains like yours.

No, I am NOT wrong.

You supported those who disrespect it by kneeling, didn't you?

No, I don't, don't say I do. My great-grandfather fought for the North. Given the same circumstances, so would I.
But that isn't the point. The war is long over and the confederate flag is nothing but history. Do you still hate the
South for something that's been over many years before your birth? If you do, you have serious issues.

WTF is my "associate"? Once again you have proved your dishonesty and disingenuousness by dodging questions while continuing to ask them. That's both very sad and very revealing. I'm assuming you are one of these militia fuckwads who fantasizes about living the Turner Diaries just like SYT and Timothy McVeigh.

The fact you are now telling a bald faced lie is also revealing. BLM and Antifa are not mine; they are left wing political groups of which I have no affiliation. While I fully support the rights of all Americans, I do not condone anyone, you included, to depriving any other American of their rights. This goes from right of passage to right of life and everything in between.

Since you've both now refused my questions twice despite me answering yours and have now lied about me, I'm writing you off as just another RWNJ living a fantasy from his retirement home. Good luck with your hate, sir.

Now you are moving the goal posts, and trying to get a do-over on what you claimed.

You literally accused me of being in favor of burning American flags:

RB60: "you don't bitch and moan about the American flag being burned."
This assertion was 100 percent false.

I believe burning an American flag is despicable, and only assholes do it. And I have a posting history stating that prior to this thread.

As for kneeling, it does not bother me. Any attempt to conflate kneeling in protest of police abuse, with literally torching an American flag is preposterous.

Yes, I concur. you have said that. Yet you haven't addressed any other remarks in my posts, and you made accusations yourself. I just say the Civil War is over, quit bitching about it.

Again, why couldn't they take it to the source, they have the media anyway. And, Kaep said he blamed the country. His words, not mine.

Kneeling in protest does not bother me.

There is no comparison between football players kneeling during an anthem to call attention to police abuse,
to the armed forces of an enemy combatant trying to kill American soldiers serving under the stars and stripes.

No comparison, none, nada, zilch.

The enemy armed forces of the Confederate States of America are still being deified and mythologized to this day, because a certain segment of rednecks want to display the Confederate Army's battle standard, and monuments to their generals in our public parks and public commons.

Think as you wish.

Ask those who actually fought, you may be surprised. None at my gun club thinks it's right.

Only a very few. Again, I wouldn't recommend trying to deface Gettysburg (which is taxpayer funded on public land). It won't end well.

Me neither.

True. OTOH, do you agree employers have a right to prevent employees from politicizing their businesses? Especially if it was written into their contracts upon acceptance of employment? Do you agree that people who pay money to see a game, show, whatever, have a right to see what they came for and not political demonstrations?

Sorry, but I disagree with your characterization of the positions of Americans during the Civil War. Yes, some people do put too much on the CSA, you included, sir. The fact we're still discussing it 155 years later is proof some of the issues are still relevant and not easily canceled. I'm referencing State's Rights, not slavery. Too many people obsess that the Civil War was only about slavery. It wasn't and the issues in contention today are not about slavery. At least among sane, pro-American people.

BTW, "rednecks" is a racial slur. An epithet.
