Condeleeza Rice rips into CRT

WE didnt do any of those things to blacks. Those people back then did. Did Hispanic people of today kill anyone at the Alamo? Nope s..sure didnt. Only weirdos and lying virtue signalers feel guilty for shit they didnt do. Should AA's feel guilty for Africans slaying other tribes, enslaving them and selling them to Arabs and Euro's? NOPE.....they didnt do it. Grow up and get real.

To be fair, the blood of our ancestors who did ugly things still flow through every one of us in the entire world. :)

Hissy fit ^^^^

I'm not surprised that you're unwilling to own up to your hypocrisy.

And any time you go to one extreme view of anything, like buying into white privilege, then YOU are the one who lack the ability to think reasonably.

I doubt you've ever actually seen first hand, any examples of blacks being denied some privilege whites supposedly enjoy.

The very idea that just because one has Caucasian ancestry gives them special privileges over blacks (Because that is who you mean. I've never heard one of you wokies claim that about Hispanics, many of whom are white) is so far beyond the realm of common sense and reason, it's difficult to fathom how anyone could be so naive and gullible to believe it.

Woke, sjw, do-gooder, bleeding heart, whatever. It's nothing new and has gone by different names for generations. But the basic personality type hasn't changed.

BLM is misguided because they only appear when some black criminal gets himself killed assaulting the police while they try to arrest them, but they are never anywhere to be found when blacks are killed other blacks.

If wokeism simply meant equality under the law for all people, then yes, there would be not a thing in the world wrong with it. But it doesn't stop there. It implies, along with the idea of white privilege which is a tenet of wokeism, that we should all consider black people to still be victims of white oppression who need special, kid glove treatment. That they are to be pitied and not held to the same tough standards as everyone else.

I suspect that it may even be part of a cynical agenda to guilt trip whites into more and more concessions.

There is power in victimhood.

Oof, you keep getting more and more wrong. You just don't know when to stop talking and proving that everything you think about this conversation was prejudged before it began based on stereotypes programmed into you.

Privilege is not about guilt. That is the lie your type has been spreading for years. About privilege, about CRT, about simple recognition that the US was built on racist foundations.

Now, either you're just a dishonest person or you have a guilty conscience. That's your problem. White people do not need to feel guilty about atrocities they did not commit. What they need to do is listen to the people who experience their ongoing consequences and stop telling the rest of us what you white people will and will not allow us to feel.

So, the tight Governor’s race in blue-leaning Virginia, is being seen as a barometer for which way America will swing in 2022 in the midterms. And one of the key issues up for debate is how much of a voice parents should have in their child’s school curriculum, especially when it comes to subjects like sex education, and Critical Race Theory. I thought they didn’t teach Critical Race Theory until they went like law school or something.

Condoleezza Rice: (00:32)
I sure hope not, because I’m not certain seven year olds need to learn it.

So that part renders the rest of the interview irrelevant. Boy that was too easy.

CRT is politically correct bullshit created by Marxists like Derrick Bell, Richard Delgado, Charles Lawrence, Alan Freeman, Cheryl Harris and Kimberlé Crenshaw amongst others. It is just a hodgepodge of social justice, victimhood, and racial tribalism purporting to be an all encompassing theory. It's nothing new the Nazis were there well before them. Here is an excellent article written by Will Alexander, who is black.

CRT, Anti-racism, BLM: Legacies Of A Slave Mentality

Will Alexander

These days, “black oppression” is a tactic used in dirty politics. But in my early life, it was very real. The Jim Crow days were a landscaped wilderness between slavery and freedom – a mirage of freedom.

But I’ll spare the stories. It’s over. Holding on to that stuff is like walking around with a corpse on your back. Drag it around for too long and your soul rots from moral gangrene – a spirit of revenge if you have power; a spirit of resentment if you don’t. If you have both, you become Maxine Waters. So, no.

During the civil rights days, any time MLK wanted to give Southern blacks hope that freedom would come someday, he used the imagery of the Hebrew slaves escaping Egypt, enduring the wilderness, and finally reaching the Promised Land.

“We’ve got some difficult days ahead,” said this modern-day Moses. “But it doesn’t matter with me now. Because I’ve been to the mountaintop. … And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land.”

Today, 156 years after the death of slavery and after Jim Crow’s been a corpse for 56 years, the question of whether American blacks have reached the “Promised Land,” remarkably, depends on whom you ask.

It reminds me of the real Moses who was famous for his headaches while leading ex-slaves with two different attitudes toward their predicament. Most saw the glass as half empty; a few, half full.

Ex-slaves who saw the glass as half empty died in the wilderness. All of them. God Himself wouldn’t put up with their incessant complaining and protests. For the rest, a trip that could’ve taken 11 days, took 40 years. Why? Because too many of them, although free, still thought and acted like slaves.

Minorities are not monolithic,....why cant race peddlers ever GET that? One thing for sure,.....THEY WILL.

Minorities do not have the power. If you refuse to give it up, you will stay in charge. Apartheid has shown that a small minority can control. In modern times, gerrymandering showed a minority can win. The institutions are in the hands of the healthy and corporations. They are not giving it away.

Agreed.....then all black people should feel shame and guilt for what those black slavers in Africa did. How could they have been so monstrous and evil to have done that to their own kind ?

Nope. Condi's first response was what destroyed the OP's argument.

Nope. This thread went on to prove what I said about CRT from the beginning. That being that most people do not give it any real validity or concern. It is thought of in main stream American Society as kind of a joke. "Oh look,..another scam dreamed up by left wing prophets in an attempt to maybe some day make Profits! " FAIL. There will be no profits  All CRT has done is make the forever injured and begging class look weaker than they already do. Respect is earned never just given. NOBODY respects a beggar,..they pity them.

Take a look at my post #83.

The claim that CRT is being taught to 6 year old kids is a joke. You're right.

The claim that CRT is a pat on the head and a joke is also correct. You never have to actually admit it either,...nobody cares because we all KNOW its true anyway so who gives a shit.
